LOOSE LEASH WALKING This seminar will teach you how to help your dog walk politely on a leash. We will discuss equipment, training scenarios, and tricks for success. There will be 5 working spots for this seminar, all dogs must be dog friendly.
4 on the FLOOR Want to teach your dog polite greetings for people? BIG dogs, little dogs, every dog needs to know how to greet and be polite. This is a working seminar, so dogs are welcome. Pre-registration will be required for people wishing to bring dogs.
NOSE TO THE GRINDSTONE This seminar will teach the basics of scent detection, nose work, searching, and a variety of drive building exercises. This course is taught by a member of the FEMA Canine handlers and will be a good foundation for all other nose work activities. This course is also available as a weekend long seminar.

We will discuss types of crates, places for crates, training of crates, and will send you home with some handouts to help you get started!
FRISBEE CATCHING Can your dog catch a treats? A Ball? A Frisbee? No previous catching experience needed. This is a working dog seminar so pre-registration is required.
REACTIVE DOG Does your dog bark at other dogs on walks? Lunge at kids or cars? Pull like crazy when there is a bus or truck on the street? Then this seminar is for you! We will discuss how to deal with cujo and give you some practice walking your dog in a calm and dignified manner. Dogs who are human aggressive are not allowed in this class.
