K9 Summer Camp 2010

Send your dog to Camp!

We are thrilled to be able to offer the first Doggie Summer Camp in Baltimore! While you are at work, your pup can spend a day learning how to be a better companion or how to do cool tricks to entertain you! Your pup will come home tired and happy from a long day of learning and being mentally challenged.

Summer Camp is offered at our HOWL Location in Hampden.

What can dogs learn at Summer Camp?

Dogs can learn a wide variety of behaviors while at summer camp. Everyone will learn polite leash behavior, and how to wait quietly in a crate for their turn to work!  Dogs are treated to individual attention, and individual training. We will work on any behaviors that you want your dog to master. Remember that all of our training methods are scientific and positive. We will teach your dog to work with a clicker to accomplish most tasks, and we can show you how to use it too!  Some options include:

  • Housebreaking
  • Crate Training
  • Fetch
  • Frisbee
  • Loose Leash Walking
  • No Jumping
  • No Mouthing
  • Sit
  • Down
  • Stay
  • Come
  • Turning lights on and off
  • Retrieving a Named Object
  • Riding a Skateboard
  • Targeting
  • Carrying objects
  • Turning lights on or off
  • Opening and Closing Doors
  • Playing Dead
  • Nodding or Shaking Head
  • Crawling
  • High Five
  • Anything else you can think of!

What about when they aren't working?

We offer a variety of items, toys, and games for your dog to enjoy when they need some down time. Our goal is to keep your dog happy and mentally busy all day. Some of these incur an additional fee. Most dogs will need a some rest between training and playing as well so we will have crates and exercise pens enough for everyone at camp.
