B-More Charming School for Dogs

SNIFFER CLASS

A 6 week course using your dog's natural instincts to sniff and hunt. This class is fun and useful! The class is taught by a nationally certified search and rescue trainer who has worked at the state and national level in disaster search work. This class will teach scent recognition, how to search for a scent, and what to do when your dog finds it! Ever wanted to make a million dollars having a bed-bug detection dog? Or a bomb or drug dog? Or just a dog who can find your keys and bring them to you? This is the class that will teach all of those things. The class includes a supply kit for homework, and involves both inside and outside class work. Dogs should have some basic training but a nose is the only pre-requisite!

Cost: $225 includes supply kits

Parlor Tricks 1: For Graduates of Puppy or Basic

An 6 week course designed to further your dog's education. This will be a class based primarily on shaping that will teach your dog myriad cute parlor tricks to entertain your friends and family. Section A teaches the following behaviors: Bowing, Crawling, Waving, Spinning, Hi 5, as well as naming 3 toys. There will also be a course long project to teach an advanced behavior.

Parlor Tricks B: For Graduates of Puppy or Basic

A 6 week course for continuing your dogs education. This will be a class based on shaping and chaining behaviors. We will begin to build complex chains of behavior and put them on one cue. We will also teach new behaviors like: Push It, Pull It, Fetch Name, Play Dead, Jump Up, and Carry It. As with Section A, there will be a final project to complete.

Cost: $200

Reactive Dog

A 6 week advanced class for people who need help reducing the reaction of their dog to exciting/scary/aggressive stimuli. A great class for people who don't have a controlled environment in which to train. This is a very special class to help your dog work on his or her individual distractions. No Human Aggressive Dogs Allowed! The class is extremely strict to ensure that everyone has a positive learning experience. Special permission is needed for registration. Outdoor Adventure Club

A single session class for people who would like to have a better public dog. Based on loose leash walking and mental stimulation training, we will go to a different location for each class and work with the distractions found there. Lead by our expert trainers and leading Baltimore Dog walkers. Sign up for a spefic location and date below. We will contact you with where to meet. Most class meetings will be an hour, some will be longer.

Cost: $50

Rally Obedience (for graduates of Basic)

A 6 week class that is based on the skills needed to compete in Rally Obedience Trials. This will serve to solidify your dogs obedience skills and teach some new ones needed to win all the ribbons. This class is great for confidence building, learning new skills, and getting some exercise. Students must have some stimulus control, and must be graduates of Intermediate or have special permission.

Cost: $200
